On "The Heysen Trail"
"Stretching like a backbone some 1200 kms the length of the state, the Heysen Trail offers the artist an amazing variety of subject matter to work with. From sea and landscapes, vistas, rolling hills and plains; to rock faces and man made structures of all kinds.
It is these that caught my attention along the trail; from old sheds, tanks, to abandoned schools and businesses.
Signs, fences, gates and trailmarkers also provide some interesting subjects to the artist and traveler."
