Sara is an emerging Adelaide artist who, after completing a management degree at the University of South Australia, decided she wanted to pursue one of her longtime loves; photography.

She is currently studying at the Centre for Creative Photography to complete a Diploma in Photoimaging and loves using film and old cameras. 

For this series Sara focuses on the confusion and mystery of the dream world and the subconscious mind. She takes her inspiration from poems, songs, old photographs and her own dreams.

She likes to let the viewer come to their own conclusion of what each photograph is about, drawing from their own personal experiences and knowledge.

The photographs for this series were taken on a variety of film cameras and then developed and printed in Sara’s darkroom.
